About me.

I am a photographer based in Voroklini, Cyprus, where the Mediterranean light shapes every frame I capture. My work explores the intersection of daily life and extraordinary moments, finding beauty in both the planned and the spontaneous.

The story so far.

It all kind of began again in 2012.

My photographic journey began again in 2012 during an unexpected detour. My wife, daughter, and I were traveling back from the Provence to Berlin when our car broke down—the gearbox had completely given up. We found refuge at a friend’s place in the magical Abbey of Romainmôtier, where he arranged for us to stay in the abbey’s guest room

.
There, overlooking the river that flowed beneath our window, I captured a simple snapshot of my wife with a basic digital camera. It wasn’t technically perfect, but something about that moment reignited my passion for photography. It was a return to truly seeing light, to finding pictures in everyday moments, and it gave me the spark to embrace digital imaging after years away from the craft.

TODAY

The journey back to photography wasn’t immediate. I had to relearn everything—how to see, how to focus, the magic of light, the thrill of capturing the perfect moment, and yes, even the frustration of missing that split-second opportunity. It’s a continuous learning process, and while the journey is far from over, I invite you to explore my work and see if I’ve found my photographic voice. Your participation in this visual story is always welcome.

THE PLOT TWIST

In a wonderful twist of fate, the friend who helped us at the abbey is a fantastic photographer himself. Though he has since relocated to Poland and continues his work from there, that serendipitous meeting remains a pivotal moment in my photographic renaissance.
